"I've loved working with Hollie.

The level of thought, care and detail put in to creating an informational resource about emotional abuse for my organisation has been exceptional. Hollie has not only thought about the visual element of design but the users experience as well. Finally, we had an opportunity to test the design with our customers. Hollie took ownership of the printing and supplying of the resources in time for an event.

I wouldn't hesitate to work with Black & White Studios again."

Emotional Abuse

"Emotional abuse can make you feel like there is no way out or that without your partner you are nothing.

An emotional abusers aim is to chip away at your feelings of self-worth and independence.
There are no physical marks yet it can have a huge impact on your self-esteem.

Not to be confused with love. Emotional abuse is not fair or acceptable.
You and your loved ones are worth of love and belonging - always."

Prepair NZ was founded in 2015 by Irene Wakefield after learning that a former relationship was mentally and emotionally abusive and since then has been doing the most incredible work to teach young women about emotional abuse and self love.

Irene came to Black & White Studios looking for the design of an emotional abuse resource that could be used as a standalone item, as well as within the Prepair NZ workbooks. She wanted something accessible, beautiful and informative so we worked together to create this!
